Investors Could Make Millions from a Rise in ISA Limits

Millionaire stock market professional and author Stephen Sutherland is eagerly anticipating this week’s budget following expectations that the Chancellor is about to raise the annual saving limit on Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs).

“Experts in the city are hopeful of a substantial rise in the tax-free allowance,” Sutherland confides, “Especially following recent comments by the Chancellor and Gordon Brown that they have been looking at ways to make tax free savings more attractive to UK citizens.”

The current limit for ISAs is £7,200 per year and Sutherland believes that if this is raised to £10,000 on Wednesday UK investors could end up making millions.

“If Darling does increase the annual limit for a Stocks and Shares ISA to £10,000, a couple knowing how to grow their ISA at a substantial rate of return combined with adding the maximum amount each year could accumulate as much as £1,254,468.55 over a 10 year period,” he claims.

Sutherland is basing this claim on investors being able to make returns of 30%, a theory he backs up in his new book Liquid Millionaire (£21.97 AuthorHouse) and on his blog www.stephensutherland.com where he regularly provides advice and insight into ISA Trend Investing.

“I used to think that returning more than 7% on your money was impossible,” he confesses, “But that was before I became educated in the stock market. Now I am certain that it is possible to beat the market because not only have I done it but there are countless other investors who have done it too. In the past 5 ½ months I’ve helped my clients achieve returns of 37.4%, despite all of the current financial doom and gloom. And if the Chancellor does raise the limit on ISAs then investors are being presented with an even greater opportunity.”
